Private Yoga Instruction
Moira is a certified Integrative Yoga Therapist who obtained her IYT certificate at the Commonweal Institute in Bolinas, California. She is trained in Hatha Yoga, restorative yoga, and Integrative Yoga therapy as well as movement and Jungian expressive arts. Moira is also an adjunct psychology professor at St. Edward’s University. Maintaining a private yoga practice in Wimberley, Moira believes yoga can be an important part of the wellness programs she offers to promote simultaneous health and healing at the physical, emotional, and spiritual levels.
Helen has been practicing yoga for most of her life, and became a certified yoga instructor in 2005. She specializes in working with injured and aging bodies, using techniques from hatha yoga, kundalini yoga, Pilates, and traditional core strength training, plus a unique series of “healing power” poses that locate small, deep, stabilizing muscles in the hips, back, shoulders and knees that tend to shut down from overuse or injury, and turn them back on again. Helen believes that a strong, healthy body is one in which every muscle is working as it was designed to work, and only as much as required to keep you active and free of pain.
